FSSCDN - Nanoscored Rupture Discs

Product Description

These discs have micro-scored calibrated sections opening in petals, characterised by the presence of 4, 6 or more radial scores. This allows for better opening and reduces the risk of petal detachment. This makes the rupture discs especially suitable at high bursting pressures. They can be used with gas and liquids with cycling and pulsating conditions without reduction of safety margins. FSSCDN discs react to excessive pressure in a few milliseconds without fragmentation. They are especially suited for protection of safety valves. These rupture discs allow for a ratio between operating and bursting pressure up to 85% and have a very good resistance to corrosion. Corrosion resistance may be additionally improved with a PTFE lining. In addition, these rupture discs can, in many cases, be subject to absolute vacuum conditions without need for supports.
