The AURA EXB back pressure regulator is engineered to deliver precise and adjustable control of excess pressure in closed-loop systems with inlet pressures up to 500 psig. Unlike standard relief devices that simply open or close, the EXB uses dual-surface diaphragm or dynamic cartridge sensing elements to provide accurate throttling of pressure spikes. This ensures greater flexibility, stability, and precision in system performance.

AURA’s proprietary machining process produces ultra-smooth surface finishes of 4–25 Ra, reducing the risk of corrosion and extending regulator life. Each EXB is assembled in a Class 100 cleanroom as a complete unit with all gauges, fittings, and valves installed. The assembly is fully cleaned for oxygen service, undergoes 100% helium leak testing, and is subjected to rigorous flow and function testing to guarantee exceptional purity, durability, and leak integrity.

For corrosive or demanding environments, the EXB is available with Dursan® LS inert coating technology, which provides outstanding resistance to acidic and caustic media—often outperforming exotic alloys.
