The AURA EXH is a self-relieving high-pressure regulator designed for primary pressure control of non-corrosive gases and liquids at delivery pressures up to 4500 psig. When delivery pressure is reduced, the EXH automatically vents excess downstream pressure to atmosphere through the bonnet, ensuring stable and reliable pressure control.
At its core, the EXH incorporates AURA’s encapsulated seat design, which consolidates numerous moving components into a single assembly. This simplifies maintenance, reduces potential failure points, and enhances long-term reliability. The seat is protected by a 10-micron, 360° filter, which provides far superior impurity filtration compared to conventional pressed-in disks. Unlike standard designs that filter only at the pipeline port, the EXH safeguards against damaging particles from all ports. With multiple seat materials and orifice sizes available, the EXH delivers optimal performance across a wide range of applications.
The EXH’s high-load marginal spring provides stable delivery pressures even at high flow rates, while its minimal installation requirements allow for easy panel or surface mounting. In non-relieving mode, the EXH ensures positive shutoff with a helium leak-tight seal.
Every EXH is assembled and tested as a complete unit, including any optional peripherals. Each regulator undergoes extensive flow and function testing to guarantee durability, leak integrity, and consistent performance in demanding environments.
