The AURA EXZ is a sub-atmospheric back-pressure regulator designed to provide adjustable relief of excess positive pressure in vacuum systems caused by pressure buildup or upstream sample injection. Its proprietary hybrid spring system, combined with an oversized dual-surface diaphragm, ensures exceptional precision, stability, and repeatability. Multiple seat material options eliminate unwanted reactions with process media, enabling accurate throttling of excess pressure to maintain optimal process conditions.
Each EXZ regulator is assembled in a Class 100 cleanroom as a complete unit with all gauges, fittings, and valves installed. The assembly is fully cleaned for oxygen service, 100% helium leak tested, and subjected to comprehensive flow and function testing to ensure long-term reliability, durability, and leak integrity in demanding environments worldwide.
For highly corrosive or aggressive applications, the EXZ is available with Dursan® LS inert coating technology, which provides superior resistance to acidic and caustic media compared to exotic alloys. In addition, its inert surface eliminates moisture and media absorption, ensuring consistent performance in sensitive processes.
