Six-port, SilcoNert® 2000, single stage cylinder regulator for reactive analytical applications
The CONCOA 420 Series SilcoNert 2000 treated regulator provides primary
pressure regulation of reactive or corrosive calibration mixtures or
pure gases in applications requiring an extremely inert wetted finish.
The proprietary, non-reactive amorphous Silicon CVD coating provides
excellent inertness for reactive calibration standards and significantly
more corrosion resistance than bare 316L stainless steel or other more
expensive alloys. In a six port configuration, the 420 Series regulator
is suitable for sole pressure control in applications that can tolerate
minor fluctuations in outlet pressure due to diminishing inlet supply
or with gases stored at pressures below 500 PSIG (35 BAR). Like almost
all CONCOA regulators, the maximum inlet pressure for the 420 Series
regulator is at least 3000 PSIG (210 BAR) or greater, depending on
system configuration. With available options installed at the factory,
the regulator may be configured as a single station manifold with or
without purge, low-pressure alarm, or multiple inlets .
